Works With Water Beautify Skin Supplements Review

Hi lovelies, I hope you are really well today. I am back with a review of some skincare supplements from the lovely ladies at Works With Water. When they got in touch to see if I would like to be sent them for consideration and I was happy to help as lets be honest who doesn't love a chance for clearer skin.

When we discussed my skin type and what I would like out of the supplements we decided that I should try the beautify skin range which aims to give a nourished and radiant complexion.

Works with Water do a range of supplements, including a range to help clear problematic skin and also a range for men. They are based in the UK and produce 100% natural supplements for the skin to enhance your skin from within.

I decided to try the beautify skin range, and these are a ready to eat apple flavoured jelly supplement that comes in a very handy one portion sealed packet which makes them great for throwing in your bag on the go. 14 sachets come in one box and they retail at £22.94 from their site.  You can either have one or two sachets a day. I decided to try 1 a day as I felt I really needed to give the product a month to see if it was going to have any effect on my skin. The product itself is an apple flavour and you can keep them in the fridge. This is something I would highly recommend as honestly I wasn't good with the taste of them at room temperature. The consistency felt a little better when they were chilled. The formula includes marine collagen, PravenAGE, Aloe Vera and Q10 to help nourish from the inside.

So my skin isn't overly bad at all, but it is highly coloured and pretty bumpy around forehead. I had started using a new moisturiser about 2 weeks before these supplements also so this has to be taken into consideration.

This picture was taken when I started the supplements. I used the supplements for 28 days and afterwards I could notice a difference in the feel of my skin. It didn't look any better if I am honest, but what I did notice is that my makeup sat better and it wasn't as dry. Obviously I was using the moisturiser for 2 weeks prior and I am still using this moisturiser now, so I cant say for sure if it is one or the other or a mixture of the cream and supplements.

Overall I would say that unfortunately I wouldn't use them again, and this is purely down to the consistency and taste. It was very strong and I wasn't a fan, but if there were other options available I would seriously consider them. In terms of price they are expensive in comparison to some other skin supplements out there, but if they were amazing then I would pay the money no problem. If you can deal with the consistency and taste then I would say if you have the money to try them go for it!

If any of you have tried these or anything like these let me know in the comments below.

Major Love Monday feat. Katrina Kelly from K2Hair

Hey lovelies, welcome back to another Major Love Monday. I am loving all the feedback on snapchat from the past post, its great to see us all sharing love and positivity for the amazing women out there.!

So onto todays lady. Katrina Kelly was on my list for this from the get go. Not only is she a hard working, inspiring business woman, mother, fiancée and talented stylist, but she has become a friend and she still has time to inspire us all through her positivity on snapchat. As she says she has the same amount of hours as Beyonce and I think we could all learn from this.

So lets chat a little more about Katrina. She started her career at 15 in Cats Hair Group at the Westbury  hotel, she trained under the careful eye of Anthony Murray and Ian Brady who are well respected and champion stylists. When qualified she decided to head to Spain and work but she decided to come home and whilst working in Boots she knew she missed hairdressing and had to get back into it.  Katrina has worked and trained with many world leading people and this plus her determination has helped her win many competitions over the years.

Katrina always had a passion for the industry including make-up and trained with Makeup Forever extensively, so when she opened her first salon at the age of 22 they did hair and makeup for a bridal party 3 months after opening, she always felt the 2 went hand in hand.Katrina opened her first salon in Glasnevin and further from this a second in Cabra. They have masterclasses all over the country with world class makeup artists like Amber Dean and workshops to help you learn the basics. This girl and her team are unstoppable!!

Katrina has developed an amazing makeup brand called Push and watching her speak about the brand is wonderful, the passion that she has for Push and her salons is inspiring. I am proud to see how global Push is becoming and I cant wait to see it grow and of course make more purchases ( seriously you have to try the brow gel, it has taken my brows from me hating them to loving them)!

The main thing that strikes me with Katrina is her love of the industry, her business, staff and clients. This isn't a job to her, its her passion and this is wonderful to see. The way she interacts with her staff is fantastic and she is always pushing them to be the best they can be and from this she is pushing herself to continue learning and being the best she can be in every aspect of her life. Katrina is just "real" she talks of her flaws, and her mistakes, gets hangovers and comes on Snapchat and lets us into her life.  Katrina has 2 adorable kiddies that could brighten up anyones day, the way she sings with Darcy in the car is heart warming.

I cant speak highly enough of Katrina we have had some laughs on Snapchat and I fully believe this lady has the passion and drive to push her brand forward #pushgoesglobal!!

Katrina you are inspiring to not only me but many other women out there and I wish you nothing but the best for the future, you push women to be the best they can be and to always try and stay positive and for that I personally thank you.

You can catch Katrina on the following platforms, and if you are looking for hair and makeup I seriously suggest getting in touch, she did makeovers on Jen from MattetoMetallic recently and wow!!!!

Major Love Monday feat Sharon from Behind Green Eyes

Hi my lovelies and welcome to a new series of posts! Each Monday I am going to post here highlighting a woman. She might be a blogger, MUA, business woman or maybe a snapchatter I love. The main aim of this is to encourage and empower women, we should be pulling each other up not dragging each other down! Positivity is key in life and I am trying hard to live by this now.

So the first Major Love Monday lady is Sharon Leavy a blogger over at Behind Green Eyes. I have chosen Sharon this week as she was one of the first people I followed on Snapchat, and fell in love with her blog.

Sharon comes from ROI and has 3 kiddies, her twins are adorable and you need to watch her snaps to see them robbing her food, it literally brightens up my day! She just has this presence that I love and makes her so relatable. She blogs about beauty, crafts, recipes and lots in between. She's on this amazing journey with Slimming World at the moment and she is doing so well, her planning skills puts me to shame!

I have never met Sharon in "real life" but  I know I will definitely meet her this year. She is so kind and sent gifts up for us at Christmas, and what really touched me was the fact she bought my dad a hat to wear after his operation. She had no need to do this but she has such a kind heart.

She writes with such passion and ease and she has an amazing way with words, which I think comes from her love of reading. I am not a great reader and after being diagnosed with dyslexia at university, reading doesn't come easily to me, but hearing Sharon talking about some of her books inspired me to get some books, and for the first time in a long time I am enjoying reading.

Sharon is just herself and that's what draws her readers and followers in everyday. From Day 1 of following her, she has been the same and I honestly think she could be the friend you could sit and drink tea with and put the world to rights.

Go follow Sharon on all of her links below

So I hope you all enjoyed that Major Love Monday, please let me know who you think should be part of it and come say hi on my social media
